About Fishponds Flowers
Hello! We are Alison and Fiona, flower growers and florists based in Fishponds, Bristol, UK. We started Fishponds Flowers in 2016 when we became neighbours, learned that we shared a love for growing, and hatched the idea for a flower-growing business on walks taking our children to school! It has since grown from harvesting flowers in our gardens to production on two no-dig sites and in two commercial polytunnels in and around north Bristol.

We provide seasonal and locally grown flowers for individuals, special events, workshops and by subscription. We only work with British-grown flowers, most of which we grow ourselves. We make the most of the growing season in southwest England and grow hundreds of varieties, offering fresh flowers between late-March and October and dried everlasting flowers throughout the year.

A core value at the heart of our business is care and stewardship for the land we grow on, so we use 'no dig,' pesticide- and peat-free growing methods and practice sustainable floristry as much as possible, for example buying from local businesses, using compostable wrapping and making foam-free arrangements. Not only are locally grown flowers better for the planet, but they are also full of beauty, scent and delicacy that you won't find with imported flowers. We are strongly committed to providing high-quality flowers that show off the wonder across the British flower seasons - and would love to talk to you more about it!

Contact us by email or via the form on our contact page to order flowers or find out more. We work closely with our customers to provide tailored, bespoke flowers for all occasions, including weddings, events, celebrations, funerals and remembrances. Flowers can be collected from us in Fishponds or delivered to some locations in and around Bristol for an additional fee. Dried flowers can also be posted!
